1. Make sure you fill out your biography. So when your tweeting or retweeting, people will know who you are. Your biography is shown on Twitter’s Suggested Users page and leaving it blank will not attract people to add you.
2. Tweet about what you love in life and make sure you #hash tag them. This makes it easier for users to find your passion and it never fails. Therefore, if users like your content they’ll add you.
3. Follow twitter users who you think are successful in what they are doing. Pay attention to what they post while learning their style and changing it into your own.
4. Follow people who have the same interest as you. By doing so it helps you engage in conversations and when you communicate with users who are known their followers may want to start following you if your content is good.
5. Unfollow those who don’t follow you back after a week or so. You don’t want to end up having a 2:1 ratio on who you follow and who follows you back. 6. Start a contest. For example, you can say, “Giving away a free T-shirt to a random follower when I reach 200 twitter followers!”
7. Interact with your followers because twitter is a tool you need to be social with. In order to have a better effect on your twitter page make sure you interact with your followers.
